Sociocultural: CV

The Sociocultural Determinants of Occupation include socially mediated or socially constructed phenomenon, such as beliefs, attitudes, roles and behaviour that affect someone's occupation. They also include social support (such as family) available to an individual which determines his/her occupation or either impede or facilitate occupation. Concepts like time, roles and spirituality can be considered as parts of sociocultural determinants of occupation. Organizing one's occupation into social patterns or habits that conform to the social norms. Occupational dysfunction occurs when performance and expectations diverge.
